The 9th Annual Masters Weekend scheduled for June 14th, 15th & 16th is rapidly approaching. The 2007 installment welcomes back to the legendary high banks the World Dirt Racing League (WDRL) and the Interstate Racing Association (IRA) 410 sprint car series. The Masters Weekend has evolved into a race fan’s dream whether you like your racing with or without fenders. This weekend kicks off Thursday night June 14th with complete shows for the local 360 Sprint Cars, DTRA Modifieds and Street Stocks. Friday & Saturday we turn the big dog WDRL Late Models and the 410 IRA Sprint cars loose as both classes will feature complete shows each night.
The United Trailers, O’Reilly Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts IRA Sprint Cars will thrill 410 sprint car fans with two complete shows Friday and Saturday. Kim Mock, Scotty Neitzel, Steve Meyer and current IRA point leader and high flyer Travis Whitney are sure to deliver heart pounding open wheel warfare on Cedar Lake’s clay 3/8 mile speed mill. The Polydome WDRL Late Models will also compete in two 50 lap $10,000 to win events both Friday and Saturday. Current WDRL point leader and Cedar Lake Speedway veteran driver Justin Fegers will be looking to keep his lead as he battles with Brian Harris, Dave Eckrich and Wisconsin drivers John Kaanta, Eric Pember & Jimmy Mars!
