Cedar Lake Extends 2020 Season by Adding New Special Event Fall Frenzy On Tap September 25th & 26th

By CLS, 09/01/20, 11:00PM CDT

For Immediate Release – September 1st, 2020

The 2020 season has been anything but predictable and the ownership group at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin has continued that unpredictable trend by extending their 2020 season and adding a new, 2-day, season ending special event on Friday and Saturday, September 25th and 26th.

This new event, dubbed as the Fall Frenzy, is being held since the Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie was unable to open this year, and the Cedar Lake group wanted to give the local area racers an event to compete in to fill the void of the Punky Manor Challenge of Champions not happening in 2020. Assuming Red Cedar is back operating like normal in 2021, this event at Cedar Lake will be held in 2020 only.

The event will feature Late Models, Modifieds, Pro Stocks, Midwest Modifieds and USRA Late Models. The Late Model, Modified, Pro Stock and Midwest Modified divisions will be unsanctioned just like all season at Cedar Lake, meaning no licenses will be necessary to participate in the event.
