Nine Divisions, New Format, Increased Purses Highlight 12th Annual Legendary 100 Weekend

The 12th running of the Legendary 100 at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin, which will be held on September 13th – 16th, 2017, has seen an increased payout and a new format, which should make the must see event even more appealing to fans and racers alike.

Event details are as follows: an open practice will be held on Wednesday night, September 13th for anyone wishing to turn some laps before the weekend begins.

Thursday night, September 14th the event will feature a complete program for the UMSS Traditional Sprint Cars, the USRA Limited Late Models, the Street Stocks, the Pure Stocks and the Hornets. The Sprints, Late Models and Street Stocks will each be racing for a $500 winner’s paycheck, while the Pure Stocks and Hornets will each be racing for $350 to win.

Friday night, September 15th will, for the first time ever, feature a full program for the Late Models, Modifieds, Super/Pro Stocks and Midwest Modifieds, with the night’s feature winners taking home $2,000 (Late Models), $1,500 (Modifieds), $750 (Super/Pro Stocks) and $500 (Midwest Modifieds).

And Saturday night, September 16th, for the Legendary 100 finale, a second complete program will be held for the Late Models, Modifieds, Super/Pro Stocks and Midwest Modifieds, with Saturday night’s winners racing away with $3,000 (Late Models), $2,000 (Modifieds), $1,000 (Super/Pro Stocks) and $750 (Midwest Modifieds).

Passing points will be used in all divisions all three nights.
